Hello! My name is Jose Maria Barbeito. I am a Chemical Engineering Student at North Carolina State University, hoping to develop the skills required to realize my dreams. I was born and raised in Durham, North Carolina, and am a first generation immigrant, fluent in Spanish. In my free time I enjoy hiking and rock climbing, photography, doing chemical experiments, and creating new things. I'm a passionate woodworker and creative problem-solver with a love for transforming raw materials into functional art. Whether it's designing custom furniture, crafting unique resin and wood projects, or experimenting with new techniques, I take pride in every detail of my work.
